"Litfasssäule Goes Urban Art" is an ad-column hosting art, on monthly rotation, outside Gesundenbrunnen S-Bahn (suburban railway/public transport) station in Berlin, Wedding, Germany. This appropriated for art ad-column presents a great pedestrian, off-line and out of context reading of comics.
The exhibition started January 2025 and was going to be up for two months. I was expecting my pasted-up comics to be tagged up and maybe pasted over with flyers as an over-painting interaction from the street. Unfortunately a thorough decollage took place after a couple of weeks. Due to the meticulousness of the tearing down, I suspect I may have triggered some sensitivities. Who knows…
